A few weeks back, I talked about how important my morning sacred time is to me. For me, it’s all about positivity, awareness, and reflection.
Right now I’m in the midst of a 90 day period of manifestation where I’m focusing on calling some new things into my life. Whether I meditate for a few minutes, take a walk, or read something inspirational – it’s my deliberate, non-negotiable practice of connecting with my spirit each day that’s helping me create what I desire.
Each one of us is responsible for how we feel. My morning spiritual practice helps me to raise my vibration, and keep it high throughout the day. When I’m operating at a higher vibration, it’s much easier to keep the positive thoughts flowing and I’m way less likely to get caught up when challenges come my way.
The truth is that you have everything you need inside of yourself. When you give yourself the opportunity to access your own innate wisdom, your life will change. You will become more in touch with what you really desire. You’ll feel more confident and much more at peace.
A few weeks ago, I shared some of the ways I connect to myself and spirit in the mornings. Today, I’m sharing some other ways I connect on the occasions when I’m feeling the need:
- Angel cards
I use angel cards to tap into divine guidance and receive inspiration. They are similar to tarot cards, but they usually have more light and uplifting images and messages. I love all of Doreen Virtue’s cards, and you can also download them as apps.
- Spiritual books
Reading and learning is hugely important to me. I love picking up a spiritual or inspirational book in the morning, and reading a chapter – or even just a page or two – to fill my head with new ideas and positive thoughts. Some great spiritual authors to checkout are Gabrielle Bernstein, Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer, Mike Dooley, Doreen Virtue and Rebecca Rosen.
- Intuitive readings
When I feel like I want more in-depth insight into what’s going on in my life, I’ll go for an intuitive reading to help me zero in on what’s most important.
- Past life regressions
I have personally never had a past life regression, but find them interesting. I know several people who have, and said that they walked away with a deeper understanding of themselves at a soul level. Past life regressions have the potential to shed light on current patterns and life blocks, by exploring and healing the past. If this is something that resonates with you, Mira Kelley’s, Beyond Past Lives is a book to explore.
