Happy holidays everyone!
My wish for you over the next week is for you to tap into your joy. I know the holidays can be trying and amped up with the stress of finding the perfect gifts, preparing meals and dealing with family. But just know that we have the power within each us to change our perception to one of joy.
Here’s a quick exercise to get yourself ready:
Before going to any holiday gathering, take a few minutes to ground yourself in joy. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Visualize the gathering or your day going perfectly. How are you feeling? How are people reacting to you?
Cultivate the feeling of joy and connectedness with yourself and those around you. Imagine everyone feeling joy and experiencing happiness. You can take it a step further by breathing white light into your heart and imagine extending that white light on everyone you will be around that day.
Remember, our thoughts are things so when you think positively about your day ahead, you raise your energetic vibration. As you do this you’ll notice that you won’t be as triggered by other people and those around you will start to rise up with higher energy as well. Try it! See what happens.
If you tend to get triggered around the holidays, set the intention to walk away from conversations or situations that make you feel bad. Practice taking deep breaths and cultivating that joyful feeling throughout the day to keep your energy positive.
